Emergency Response, First Aid and Eyewash

Make sure you're stocked and ready to provide first-response treatment for on-the-job accidents and emergencies as well as making sure you have the appropriate biohazard products for chemical and health related needs.

Make sure your first aid kits are stocked and ready. It's a good rule of thumb to make sure that you have bandages, alcohol wipes, and ice packs on hand at all times.

If your facility handles chemicals, you should have biohazard containers close to hand so that chemicals can be disposed of safely. Biohazard signs are helpful for indicating the location of your disposal stations.

Also keep in mind that OSHA requires that all businesses have an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) on site.
