Meets ANSI Z358.1-2009 which requires emergency showers and eyewashes deliver tepid water.
Appendix "b" defines "tepid" as 15.6°C to 38°C (60°F - 100°F).
Required for use wherever emergency safety fixtures are installed including schools, hospitals, factories and any industrial setting.
Includes built-in, anti-scald protection and positive shut-off of the hot water supply if the cold water supply should ever fail.
Cold water bypass ensures operation in the event of a hot water supply failure.
Allows for accurate temperature control to within +/- 3° F.
Factory pre-set at 29.5°C (85°F).
