According to OSHA regulation 1910.37(b)(1) , exit routes must have adequate light to allow employees with normal vision to see along the route.

Standard electrical exit signs help illuminate exits with long-lasting reliability. They're UL-Listed, with 6" high letters that meet OSHA and NFPA specifications for visibility. You can also choose an All-in-One model that has attached emergency lights to illuminate your sign, exit pathway, and doorway in the event of a power outage.

Replacement batteries and bulbs are available.
