The signal word Caution should be used in hazardous situations that, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury. Our OSHA and ANSI compliant formats help you design a custom sign for your specific workplace environment.

If you need help selecting the product that’s right for you, take a moment to look at the product information below.

What size?

OHSA does not specify a size that must be used. We recommend no smaller than 7 x 5, with the most popular size being 10 x 7, but for the most impact and when space is available we would recommend 14 x 10. For signs with a lot of text, you should definitely consider our large format 20 x 14 inch signs.

So what material is right for you?

  • Vinyl Adhesive - if the surface you plan to use is smooth then this material is a perfect solution.

  • Magnetic - if you have a metal surface consider our magnetic material option. It can easily be applied and removed as needed.

  • Plastic - the most universal material is lightweight, flexible and durable for a wide array of applications

  • Aluminum - Our most popular sign material is long lasting, durable and will never rust. Lighter in weight than steel

Reflective and glow options are available for special environments. Signs with Glow-In-The-Dark surface light up instantly during power outages making sure that your message is still conveyed. Engineer-Grade Reflective signs work well in dimly-lit spaces where you usually need a flashlight. This allows signs to be visible for up to 500 ft.

Once you’ve selected your material, you should consider the application of our Lifetime Guarantee Topcoat. Not only will it make your sign ‘pop’ with color, it also protects it from graffiti, chemicals, and tough weather conditions for just a couple of dollars more.

Next, you simply insert the warning message you want to convey. Remember, the more words the smaller the text. So if you want to add more words, consider increasing the size of your sign.
Semi-custom safety signs increase safety. Add your specific lock-out or electrical safety message. Best quality and selection. Fast shipping. 60 years of satisfied customers.
