    Product Review

Does this product harm wood? In particular, cedar stair steps?

    Asked by: Elna
The SDS does not specifically mention its use on wood. Typically you do not want to use salt on any porous surface that has not been treated or sealed. Even if the surface has been treated or sealed it can still leave salt stains or cause the material to disintegrate.

Can you use this on a roof

    Asked by: Schumer
I would avoid using ice melt on a residential roof with a gutter system. The pellets can back up your gutters. It would be suitable for a flat commercial roof though.

what percentage of road runner is calcium chloride

    Asked by: Gaff
Unfortunately the percentage of calcium chloride used in its mixture is a company/trade secret that the vendor will not release.
