Does exit sign meet the HPPL requirements per APTA PR-PS-S-002-98 for passenger rail emergency signage? Does EMEDCO offer HPPL?
HPPL - high performance photo-luminescence material is capable of emitting light at a very high rate and for an extended period of time. For this standard, the minimum luminance value for HPPL is 7.5 milli-candela per square meter (7.5 mcd/m2), for 1.5 hours after removal of the charging light source. The charging light source is specified as a fluorescent lamp with a color temperature of 4000-4500°K that provides an illuminance of no more than 1 fc on the test sample for a duration of no more than 1 hour.
This sign would not meet those specifications. We offer High Performance Photo-Luminescence material signs. Please see my product recommendations below to view those signs.

Are these Glow in the Dark Exit sign compliant to building codes?
Do they meet (UL 1994 and ASTM E2072) and for signs (UL 924) standards?
This sign is considered a "pathway to exit sign" which means it does not need to meet the same requirements that the EXIT signs need to meet. The sign is not UL listed but it will meet the OSHA and NFPA guidelines for pathway marking signs. For EXIT signs that meet UL 924, UL 1994 and ASTM E2072 standards please view my product recommendations below.
