Choosing a Sign Style

Custom Safety Signs

There are two sign styles to choose from when designing your sign: OSHA and CUSTOM signs. Use the guide below to help you choose which style best fits your workplace.

Also, see How to Choose a Sign Header for more information on which header to use for your sign application

OSHA:

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA 1910.145) requires the use of safety signs to indicate and define specific hazards that, without identification, may lead to accidental injury to workers and/or the public or to property damage.

Custom:

Custom signs allow you to create your message without a header. Pictograms may be added to the right side of the sign to help communicate warnings.
