History of Workplace Safety
There’s a cliché that says to know where you’re going, you need to know where you’ve come from. We spend a lot of time looking at trends in culture, but we don’t often look at the evolution of the workplace. One area in particular that doesn’t receive enough attention is the history of workplace safety. In this post, we’ll look at several industries to see how improvements in safety have changed over time in order to appreciate just how far we’ve come.
