    Product Review

Does this belt have a safety release? So that in an emergency if someone did not retract it, it would break-away rather than create a trip hazard?

    Asked by: Brooke
The belt retracts so once it is unhooked no further action is needed; it will automatically wind itself back into the mount. Because the belt retracts it would not create a tripping hazard. If an emergency were to occur and nobody had unhooked the belt it would break-away from the wall clip should people charge the door.
